Special Education in Jarratt, VA
I am a special education advocate who represents parents of a 20-year-old daughter placed at a residential center for young mothers in Jarrat, VA, by Fairfax County, VA, Public Schools. The young woman was adopted from Russia as a young girl and has mood and learning issues. She is years behind in reading and math, but since the birth of her son has become much more motivated. To function in the community she will need frequent intensive instruction in reading in addition to the instruction she is receiving at the school. Her mother is interested in hiring a tutor to provide three or four sessions a week. Is this something you might be interested in?
