Japanese in San Mateo, CA

Hey James, I am going to visit Japan in mid-October and am interested in a fast-paced learning that would get me some basic understanding of Japanese. I was wondering if you can help me with that (assuming you are still teaching, I don't know how old this online ad is). Here are the inputs: - I am interested in comprehension (reading and listening) more than speaking; - I want to actually understand the mechanic of the language (grammar and such) as opposed to just memorizing cliches that would help me get around; - I am OK with doing a lot of homework; - I work 9am-6pm (occasionally later) and am located in San Mateo. So ideally we would meet once on a weekend and maybe once on a weeknight. My level of knowledge is zero. Please let me know if you're interested in working with me.
