English in Gatesville, TX

Ms. Lindsay, We are a busy home with two wonderful kids who need help in English/ language arts. My son is 11 (5th grade), and my daughter is 9 (3rd grade). Both Children are very smart (as any mother would say), however, they both struggle with learning English, and spelling words are their biggest down fall. My son has requested a tutor, and my daughter has trouble with reading and spelling. She is dyslexic. The schools here have yet to impress me with their abilities to help her. She prefers one on one time to assist in her comprehension. They are both A and B students. I would hate to see them struggle with this, and possibly bring their self esteem down.
