Matlab for Hearing Aids/DSP in Saint Petersburg, FL

Hi Michael, My name is Darius and I recently moved down to the tampa bay area. I wanted to learn matlab, eventually for the purpose of applying it to digital signal processing specifically for hearing aids. I work with hearing devices and they are programmed with matlab. I have dabbled in some lower computer languages such as HTML, a little JavaScript and even less C++. I was wondering if you could help me and/or guide me towards the right direction with this new language? I can meet almost anywhere you like. Thanks! Darius
