Reading in Borger, TX

Wednesday is my 60th B-day. Fifty-five years ago, asthma kept me from attending Kindergarten in Borger, and my folks hired a husband and wife reading tutor team. I cannot remember their names, but I believe they were retired long-time Borger elementary educators. I'm throwing darts in the dark, but if you have been there for a while, do you remember anything about a world traveling couple living in a spacious home in Borger? If not, can you point me in the right direction?
