Video Editing in Dallas, TX

hello, I was looking to get tutoring on video editing. I went to a broadcasting school where I learned to edit on avid and final cut. Its been a while so the cool tricks have left my memory. I want some simple lessons so that my videos I upload have a certain look. I have examples of the techniques I want to learn which should be quick to teach. I basically need someone to show me how to get a certain look for my videos so its consistent when i edit :) Can you assist?
