Questions?

Reading in Fort Pierce, FL

My son is 7 and is having a hard time with reading. He knows his phonics and can read his sight words off a list from school but if I write them on a different paper he looks lost. He doesn't enjoy reading at all and I don't the right way to help him. He is in danger of being retained in the first grade. I have been calling tutoring places but I thought maybe a private tutor like you would be better. I have many questions and concerns.
