Accounting (CPA Exam) in Long Beach, CA

Hello, I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona last spring with a B.S. in Business Administration (accounting emphasis). Last fall and winter, I attempted to study for the FAR section of the CPA Exam, but delays in the application process threw off my timing, and I was unable to properly prepare. I ultimately scuttled the plan and instead spent a tax season as a paid intern at a small CPA firm in Fountain Valley. With Becker materials in hand, I am now beginning study for the Audit section of the CPA Exam, which I plan to sit for in early July. The live review sessions begin June 1st. However, I am not confident in 1) my plan of attack and 2) the timetable I have set for myself. Therefore, I am seeking both assurance and insight from someone with CPA Exam experience. I anticipate needing only a couple of meetings to get me on my way. I live in the Bixby Knolls area of Long Beach, accessible from the 405 or 710 freeways.
