I'm interested in hiring a tutor for my 13-year old son. I've been working with him this summer to discover he is behind in basic concepts and I'm concerned he is not ready for 8th grade math. When I try to help him he pushes back which strains our relationship. I believe he will be more successful when he's accountable to a tutor. We live in Orchard Park and he's available most evenings.
