Ruby On Rails in New York, NY
Hello Ken,
I have been a freelance web designer for the past 11 years, and have decided to make a bit of a career change, shifting my focus from web design to web development. To that end, I have enrolled in an online program offered by Tealeaf Academy ((url available after purchase)). The program is four months long, and focuses on Ruby on Rails. I started on September 1st, but quickly discovered that my background is insufficient to keep up with the pace of the course without additional support. Reluctantly, I decided to pull out of the September cohort, and to start over again on October 1st.
I believe, however, that with the assistance of a tutor, I will be able to master the curriculum. I am located in Boston, so I would like to discuss the possibility of working with you online. Since I have had difficulty mastering some of the pre-course materials, I would like to start with a tutor as soon as possible (hopefully within the next week), in order to be sufficiently prepared to join the October cohort on October 1st.
I am not entirely sure how many sessions I will require, but my best guess is that I am looking at something in the neighborhood of four one-hour sessions per week for the next four months, for a total of 64 sessions.
Might this be a possibility? I can be reached at (phone number available after purchase).
Thanks,
J. L.
