Our son is in first grade public school in long beach , ny. He has selective mutism: an axiety disorder in which he Cannot speak in certain social settings; his is at school. Academically he is great: social intereaction and rejection is becoming a problem ; to much for me to bare. Thinking of hiring a p/t home tutoe to home school in addition to me possibly homeschooling myself.
