Math in DE

Good evening David, My granddaughter is in the 8th grade and is testing below standards on DCAS reading and math tests. On other tests she is testing within the average range. Her grades are above average (mostly A's and a few B's), so the problem isn't lack of motivation. Her guidance counselor and teachers feel that her biggest problem is "test anxiety". We believe that a tutor might help her gain confidence as she moves through her final year of middle school. I'd also like to note that she feels that she isn't being challenged in either math or reading.
