Public Speaking in FL

Hi. I am an appellate attorney, so my practice depends more on my writing skills than my public speaking skills. However, I must infrequently give oral argument in the appellate and trial courts. I hate public speaking. It's not that I'm bad at it -- I had my first oral argument last week, and everyone said I did an excellent job. But it's not something I controlled; it felt like I had an out-of-body experience. I never developed the skills or tools needed to "cope" with public speaking. So, I would like to build these skills from the ground up to be in more control.
