I am seeking a math tutor for my 8 yr old daughter. She just finished 2nd grade, but is unable to consistently add, subtract, recognize numbers above 10. She does receive special education help in the school system, but she is still having A LOT of trouble in math. My hope is to find a patient and down-to-earth tutor who will help bridge the gaps my daughter is lacking in math. My daughter loses focus easily, but I have noticed she does better with manipulatives than trying to do math in her head.
