Calculus in Miller Place, NY

Hi, I am looking for a Calculus tutor for my son Jeffrey, a senior at Miller Place High School. Jeffrey did well in pre-calculus last year with an average in the mid-90's. This year he is taking AP Calculus and is having a very difficult job of understanding the concepts. His teacher stated that not coming from Honors Pre-Calc will cause him challenges to catch up to the rest of the students, but he should be ok. Jeffrey attends extra help with his teacher, but is having difficulties understanding him. We noticed that when my older son (away at college) helped Jeffrey with his Calc during a visit, he understood and benefited greatly from his help. We are thinking that Jeffrey's learning style is not consistent with his teacher's teaching style. Are you willing to talk further about performing tutoring for Jeffrey with his AP Calculus?
