Reading in Kissimmee, FL

A recent consultation w/ a Reading Diagnostician/ Clinician informed me that my son's current reading level is at early 1st grade level. My son is 7 y/o & currently a 2nd grade student at a public school in Kissimmee. His reading level is 1 year behind. I need a professional, a reading expert who can assess my son's weaknesses in reading, writing, comprehension, fluency and based on this assessment, develop a plan that will facilitate my son's mastery of the skills necessary to overcome those weaknesses. Also, I am looking for someone who will use research & evidence based methods in raising my son's reading level to grade level. I need a reading specialist who can provide a wholistic & balanced literacy approach in teaching my son find meaning in and enjoy the act of reading.
