Reading in Westerly, RI

Mr. Pendola.. I am looking for a reading tutor outside of the school setting for my 8th grade son. He has recently been diagnosed with a Learning Disability in "Reading". He needs help in only certain areas of reading to increase fluency and memory retrieval. This unfortunately has gone on so long he is also having anxiety over his differences from his peers. I have a 20 page report that outlines his areas of need. My husband and I just want to close the gap so that he no longer struggles and can be successful upon entering High School next fall. I am at a lose for finding a tutor at the moment as I was not aware of the high cost and those that have been recommended by the school dept, may be qualified, but are asking double for an hour. This may seem odd but I not only know you from various places within the community but, am a former student myself from waaaay back. Bradford Elementary, 3rd grade..in the 70's. Anyway, I see here that you have tutored through 6th grade, might you consider an 8th grade student? If not might I ask if you could recommend a qualified individual in our area?
