Questions?

Math in Portland, OR

Hi there, I am interested in finding a tutor for my 14 year old son. He has been failing math the last two years and despite extra work, etc with the school & teachers, he is still not having any luck. I've had differing thoughts about where he is in his math from 5th grade level to 7th so I'm not sure exactly where he is. He'll be starting high school next year so my goal is to find out where he is mathematically and catch him up so that he will be successful, starting high school. You're my very first contact so I really don't have any idea how tutoring works, how long this might take, etc so I'm hoping you could maybe give me an idea? I appreciate your help, in advance.
