Special Education in Huntington Beach, CA

Hi Douglas, We are looking for a tutor to assist our 10 year old son; 5th grade in primarily math. We live in Huntington Beach near Brookhurst and Adams and ideally would like somebody to come to our home twice a week. He attends a private parochial school, so thankfully, there is no common core, though prior to this year, he was in the public school system. He has an IEP through the public schools as he struggles with traditional ways of learning. We have tried so many different avenues and have not found the right person or program that make things click for him. There are no behavioral issues, just struggles with academics. He was born very premature, but you would not know there are any developmental issues by meeting him. He is a sweet, active, amazing 10 year old.
