C# Programming in Portland, OR

I am amateur developer looking to up my game. Working in c# but background is in procedural vs object oriented. (computer science minor at Oregon State years back- think Cobol, Fortran) Also familiar w/SQL as defacto dba for my small wholesaling company. So far self taught in c# using Visual Studio Express, want to accelerate the learning curve. Live in NE Ptld, Parkrose area.
