J. needs help with English this week. J. wrote: I'm looking for a tutor to help my 12 year old son with his reading and writing skills. In reading, he is currently reading at a 5th grade level (he's in 6th grade) and his grades dropped because of reading comprehension. In writing, his grades dropped because of grammar, punctuation, and missing details in his paragraphs. Would you be able to formulate a lesson plan to boost his reading and writing skills? Any advice or recommendation is greatly appreciated. J.
