Reading (dyslexia) in Elmhurst, NY

Good afternoon I have a 8 yr old son who's been struggling with reading since kindergarten I have tried almost anything to help but I feel as if I'm causing him more stress When he was in 1st grade he had teacher that completely shattered his self esteem he would come home crying everyday because he would say she would get upset and raise her voice when he couldn't write or pronounce a word correctly Now that he's in second grade he's behind and I can see how bad he is struggling He absolutely loves math but now that it involves word problems he is starting to dislike it because of his inability to read Please help I'm looking for a tutor that can be available on weekends Fri 5-7pm Sat 10am-12pm Sun 10am-12pm $270 a wk Thank you for taking the time to read this have a blessed day
