Algorithms in Austin, TX

Hello, My name is M.. I am a graduate student in Information Systems. I am currently looking for a co-op as a Software Engineer. In order to prepare for the job interview, I would like to understand, learn and practice algorithms and data structures. Would you be able to teach me these concepts? I tried to learn algorithms by myself but it rapidly got very confusing and overwhelming. So I would need somebody who could make these concepts clearer and help me to be able to write efficient algorithms. Thank you very much M.
