Statistics in Summit, NJ

Hi Michael, I just sent you a message via WyzAnt but I have subsequently read poor reviews about that service and so I am also reaching out via Tutorz. Here's the message I sent: I am currently enrolled in a new applied analytics masters program at Columbia. Although designed for general managers and requiring very basic math and statistics knowledge as a prerequisite (I've only taken 1 stats class and it was 15 years ago at business school and it has been longer than that since I last studied Calculus), one professor in particular appears to think that the students know more about these subjects than most of us do and so he is moving through the material much faster than he should be. As a result, I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed and could use some help (this professor refuses to offer office hours -- he lives up near Albany and his class is online, which isn't helping matters). In addition to reviewing statistical concepts, I also could use some help with the tools we are beginning to learn including JMP and R. Are you familiar with these programs? And in terms of meeting, do you have a preference for a location? I live in Summit, but I could come to Madison if you have a place you normally like to meet there. Please let me know. Thx! J.
