Calculus in Ashburn, VA

Hi Heather, I am a former GMU graduate looking for a tutor for the early levels of Calculus; I came across your profile on both Wyzant and this site and thought you might be able to help. I have previously taken two courses in Calculus, but that was some 9 years ago so I am fairly rusty. I am also on a somewhat accelerated timeline, as I need to have completed a refresher of my studies by early March. Due to the accelerated pace, this is largely a self-taught endeavor; however, I find that I occasionally get stuck on a concept and combing through online resources for hours is not exactly time-efficient. Thus, having a tutor whose assistance I can enlist in such moments would be helpful. Your Wyzant profile mentions being available for online tutoring, although your Tutorz profile does not. Is this largely due to the fact that Tutorz does not provide payment online? I would be more than happy to meet up prior, provide payment for a few hours work, and give you an overview of my current understanding and my goals; following that, I could contact you online for assistance when running across a particularly challenging problem. Please let me know if an arrangement along these lines would be acceptable. I am currently in Ashburn, but would be happy to meet at a public place halfway so as to remain within your travel distance restrictions. Thank you in advance for your time.
