Hi Dr Johnson, I am currently writing a thesis on the effect of impulsivity on Short Intracortical Inhibition in trans-magnetic stimulation. As this has never been done before I looked at clinical populations who showcase impulsive symptoms. However, to build up my rationale for using neurotypical populations in the current study I need to explain why looking at clinical populations might be inaccurate as there might be abnormalities in their brain that affect this rather than any brain parts related to impulsivity directly. In simply terms I need to find out why primary motor cortex inhibition is abnormal in ADHD and Autism, but this explaination cant relate to any impulsivity neurobiology directly (no GABA, no Dopamine, No prefrontal cortex) if this is something you can help me with let me know,
