Hello Joan. My name is A. and I am searching for a tutor for my daughter. My daughter's name is Lizzie. She is seven years old (eight in February) and is in second grade at Woodland Charter School. Although we love the community at Woodland, because Woodland is a Waldorf school, Lizzie is not as advanced in her academics as I would like. I feel she needs more direction in academics to simply read and preform math problems at her grade level. My biggest fear is that she fall behind her grade level (or the state requirements) in math and reading skills because she is at a Waldorf school. We love our school, and would greatly appreciate all the help we could get to help us stay where we are comfortable.
