"I am a literacy specialist with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Mount Holyoke College and a Massachusetts teaching license in English for grades 5-12. Over the past nine years, I've worked as both a classroom teacher and instructional coach, helping students become confident readers and writers. I currently coach high school English teachers and previously spent five years teaching literacy curriculum for elementary and middle school students. This experience means I understand how reading and writing skills develop across all grade levels.

My tutoring approach is grounded in the Science of Reading and structured literacy methods. I believe every student can succeed with explicit, systematic instruction tailored to their needs. In our sessions, I focus on building foundational skills while fostering a love of reading. I use multisensory techniques, clear modeling, and plenty of practice with immediate feedback.
