"We don't all learn the same! As a firm believer in a whole-child approach to learning, I understand and value using many varied methods to help a child learn. Learning may take place through music, games, logical or sequential activities, reading, etc.

I hold a B.S. in Biology, and have been in non-formal education for more than 10 years. I have worked at the local science center as an educator, worked as the education specialist for NC State Parks managing their education program for a district covering over 1/3 of the state, led several train the trainer workshops, and coordinated an education program within local government.

I have experience developing, presenting and evaluating curriculum. I am familiar with state standards and requirements.
