Who am I? I'm a Cum Laude graduate from the University of Central Florida, 2019. I earned a double degree in Biomedical Sciences BS and Psychology Neuroscience Track BS. Before then I graduated top 1% from Wellington High School. At 23 years old I have 10 years of tutoring experiences in the STEM area. Just a major nerd with a knack for teaching!
I find that most students feel more comfortable and relaxed learning from someone in their age range with whom they can relate. The courses I'm most comfortable tutoring are Elementary Math and Science, Pre- Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Biology and General Chemistry (high school and college level CHM 2040 CHM2041 and CHM 2046). I have also tutored in Pre-Calculus, Calculus and Physics and SAT prep. One of the most valuable lessons that a tutor can share with his/her student is a passion for learning then everything else falls into place. For such course work as Math and Chemistry I like to foster independence through critical thinking and applying math to real world situations to show my students that mathematics doesn't just exist on the textbook. Since every student will be different, In our first meeting I like to draft a teaching plan of our goals and objectives for each session, such as "By [certain date] I will be able to solve and graph all quadratic equations".
I believe what makes me an effective tutor is my ability to detect the problem areas that are holding a student back even if they don't know how to communicate it.
Success Stories:

---A veteran with a learning disability hired me as long term tutor for algebra, pre calculus and calculus, chemistry 1 and chemistry 2. I saw him transform from being a hesistant, shy and failing student to the student" less...
