"I have been teaching math for over 25 years at the high school level after graduating from UC Davis. Subjects taught include Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre Calculus, and AP Calculus AB/BC. I am well versed in each subject, the common core standards, 3 different text books, and the AP tests.

With my students I try to make topics easy to understand by relating them to real world situations, creating several examples, showing problems step by step, and patiently watching them complete the problem on their own to prove that they truly grasp the concept. I strive to make math a positive experience for students by increasing their knowledge, confidence, and grades.
