"I have tutored Spanish for 15 years in Sewickley at all public and private schools in the surrounding areas. I have had excellent success in elevating students' grades substantially during the school year. I have taught entire year-long courses in an abbreviated period during the summer. I always develop excellent working relationships with all different learning types. I am very good at taking complicated grammatical concepts and simplifying them so anyone can understand them. I majored in Spanish at St. Lawrence University. I studied my junior year in college at the University of Madrid and lived with a Spanish family. I spent two months in the Dominican Republic, living with a family.

I quickly identify learning types and modify my teaching to optimize learning for each type. I forge strong relationships with my students to make the experience a rewarding one, making sure they have successes to build their confidence and start enjoying Spanish. I work with students first, and if deemed helpful to the student, I include the parent and/or teacher in the process so we're all working together for the same goal.
