"I am a graduate of Kankakee Community College and Western Governor's University. I received my Associate Degree in Nursing in 2001 and my Bachelor of Science Degree in 2020. I specialize in Women's Health, Obstetrics, Neonatal, and Pediatrics. Throughout my career, I have tutored nursing students in 1:1 and group classroom settings. In the clinical setting, I have mentored many university students as well as new and experienced nurses. I have experience designing nursing simulations both with and without simulation equipment. I spent 7 years living in Africa working for an international healthcare non-profit at a director level where I frequently trained and led international meetings via online video platforms such as Skype, Zoom, and Google Meet.

While I enjoy tutoring a broad range of math and science subjects, I am most passionate about nursing courses. I especially enjoy tutoring concept maps, care plans, med math, HESI A2 prep and NCLEX-RN prep. I love to teach, inspire and encourage the next generation of nurses. I have over 20 years of experience as a nursing mentor, tutor, preceptor, and leader both in the US and internationally.
