"I am a registered nurse, and my background includes a BSN from the University of Detroit - Mercy, Detroit, MI and a MSN in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ. My experience includes 25 years in obstetrics and management, 10 years in quality management, and 5 years in nursing education.

I wanted to be a nurse from the age of 3, curious about all the sights and sounds of my doctor's office through the years. I found a love for nursing, especially teaching and mentoring others who are learning the profession themselves.

Tutoring was part of my role as a nursing educator in both Michigan and Ohio. I used a variety of technical media, class discussion, popular movies and game format test preparation in my approach. Making learning fun is important to me as both a student and teacher.
