"For more than 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching, mentoring, and guiding students, helping them not only master content but truly believe in themselves. I believe confidence is the foundation of success, and my goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and growing.

I’m an engaging, approachable, and often funny tutor who builds strong rapport, because I’ve learned that real learning happens when students feel respected and understood. I care deeply about my students, and I work hard to help each one reach their potential.

I specialize in AP U.S. History and New York State Regents exam preparation, and I’ve taught these courses and prepped students for decades. Over the years, I’ve worked with all types of learners — from Ivy League–bound students to those in summer school — and with every learning style in between. I’ve taught in traditional classrooms, online, and one-on-one through academic intervention programs, which allows me to adapt quickly to each student’s needs and goals.

In our sessions, I help students strengthen their writing and document analysis skills, master multiple-choice strategies, improve study habits, organize notes, and discover the learning style that works best for them.
