"In the 5 years since leaving the classroom, I worked in conjunction with Georgia Professional Standards Commission in a Teacher Preparation and Certification Program, providing teacher candidates with classroom supervision and mentorship, preparation coursework and evaluation, and, ultimately with recommendation for Georgia Teacher Certification.

I have 20 years of experience teaching English in the classroom. I taught Honors English, AP Lit and AVID Study Skills in High School (10 years) ELA and Reading in middle school (10 years), and served as an Assistant Principal in a National School of Excellence.
