"I knew when I was in high school that I wanted to be a high school math teacher - so I'm living my dream!

I have taught in public schools, international schools, and private schools. I have taught everything from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus AB. I prefer to teach and tutor Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Calculus.

I really like working with teenagers and giving them the courage and the confidence to be successful in mathematics. Often with math problems you have to just try something and if that doesn't work, start over and try again. It's a subject that lends itself well to learning from your mistakes because often you can find out easily if you're right or wrong.

I also believe that anyone is capable of being successful in math. There is no such thing as a "math person." With private tutoring and discipline, you can learn anything. Your brain can grow and change; it has unlimited potential.
