"I've been a teacher for 29 wonderful years! I graduated from Mount Mercy University in 1996 with a degree in Elementary Education. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of teaching 1st grade for 9 years, 4th grade for 6 years, and even spent 4 years working at a psychiatric hospital, supporting kids aged 6 to 18. For the last 10 years, I've focused on teaching 5th and 6th grade math. I truly love what I do! I have high expectations for my students because I believe in their potential, and I aim to help them think about math in new and exciting ways so that even the toughest topics become clear.
