I have been playing chess since I was four years old and competed in tournaments for 20+ years, earning several major accolades including: representing Team USA at the World Youths in Brazil, 2x National Scholastic Champion, 2x Scholastic State Champion, and Junior High NYC Champion.

I began teaching chess in 2013 and enjoy helping students improve and develop a deeper passion for the game. I've worked with organizations like NY Chess Kids (PS 116) for three years, Top Level Chess for one year, and Chess Max Academy for two years, while also transitioning to private tutoring. Chess has always been one of my greatest passions, and I enjoy helping students grow both academically and intellectually. I recently returned to competitive chess and currently hold a USCF rating over 2000. As a Chess Coach, I specialize in tactics, opening theory, attacking game plans, and I bring 20+ years of experience to each lesson.

I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Union College with a degree in Mathematics, while also completing the Pre-Health Track for Physical Therapy. I offer private Math Tutoring for students in grades K–12. I graduated with a 3.85 GPA in Mathematics and specialize in tutoring subjects including algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. Additionally, I scored in the 95th percentile on the SAT math section and can help students develop strategies for standardized test success.
