I've found that a lot of people get frustrated with Math because they were never properly taught the earlier concepts. Since Math always builds on your previous knowledge, no wonder they don't understand the current lesson! My tutoring method involves letting the student tell me the answer rather than just giving it to them, but to provide direction - particularly in background fundamentals - when needed.

I love Math and I hope some of that passion comes through. I decided to become a tutor while I was in school because I hoped it would help me decide if I want to be a teacher. Now that I've graduated, I've decided that I want to continue tutoring because of all the jobs I've ever had, it's the one I've enjoyed the most.

I have 2 years of experience tutoring undergraduate college students, but anyone is welcome. I have some experience tutoring persons with disabilities.
