"I have a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from the University of North Texas. I graduated with a 3.8 major GPA. I have been on the deans list and received multiple honor's awards for semesters with a perfect GPA. I have taken courses in programming, data structures and algorithms, data base administration, game programming, software engineering, calculus, and differential equations to name a few. With this degree, I was able to pursue a professional career for 3 years as a software engineer at a financial institution. There, I specialized in quality assurance, Excel VBA, SQL (PL/SQL on Oracle databases), and Java development using a large repository, and automation for large-scale applications as well as automation of various testing.

I have experience tutoring computer science students one-on-one through various means such as walking through coding assignments, providing reviews on assignments, and explaining programming concepts and paradigms. When working with college students, I focus on being adaptive and goal-oriented while keeping to a clear schedule. I assisted in providing logical approaches and code reviews. I have also had the opportunity to mentor and onboard new engineers, teaching them best practices, project standards, and approaches to solving complex business related problems.
