"Hi! My name is Sam D., I am a recent graduate of Rutgers University and I am attending medical school next year! A Rutgers, I double majored in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry (MBB) and Biomedical Nutrition. After taking Honors Organic Chemistry, I immediately was hired by the university as a learning assistant and went on to become the lead teaching intern for the course, where I earned an award for excellence in organic chemistry teaching. I was also employed at Rutgers as an LA for Chemistry of Life and a tutor for a PhD student in molecular biology and biochemistry. Throughout those years of working for Rutgers, I also tutored many students on my own in classes like General Chemistry, Regular and Honors Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, General Physics, General Biology, and Biochemistry!

I have a passion for teaching, and it is my professional goal to become a professor of medicine in addition to becoming a physician. Organic chemistry is a notoriously difficult course, and with so much conflicting guidance online, it can be difficult to navigate.
