I am a certified professional private tutor with an expertise in languages (English, French, and Italian), Test Preparation (SAT, ACT, STAAR, TOEFL, PSAT, ISEE, ESL, IELTS, and AP), Humanities, and Art. I employ U.S. and European methods to help my students achieve the best results exceptionally fast. In particular, I use a Subject Immersion method, similar to those used in foreign service schools, based on customized curricula (I am experienced in subject immersion because I was an instructor/tester for diplomats at a school in Washington D.C.).

My Bachelor’s degree is in English and Philology; my Master's degree in European Studies and Business is from the George Washington University, D.C.; I also completed International Relations coursework at Georgetown University (D.C.); and extensive language and culture studies in Naples (Italy), Nice (France), and Quebec (Canada). In the U.S., I have worked for The University of Texas/ALTA, World Languages Institute, ELITE Test Prep. school, Inlingua (ILR/government test prep.); Global LT, U.S. courts; The School of European Languages and Art, Varsity Tutors, and Certified Language Interpreters. I have taught public school students in libraries and homes; and corporate students at Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Verona Marble, Sabre, Hitachi, Open University Business School, and Fidelity.

I teach English, French, and Italian, which are languages I grew up with and studied at universities in Europe and the United States. For the past 30 years, I have taught students of all ages and backgrounds, helping them increase their scores and grades from 20% to 90%-100%, often with just a few lessons. My tutoring agency certifications also cover GT students and special needs students (ADD-ADHD, Dyslexia and Dysgraphia/Dyscalculia).
