"Hi everyone, my name is Abigail! I'm currently a biology major at Sacramento City College and working towards transferring to a four-year university. During high school, I volunteered at the Franklin Library as a K-8 tutor, helping students with math and English. I'm currently a CHEM 400 (equivalent to AP CHEM in High School) tutor at my community college.

As someone who used to hate and struggle with math and chemistry, I understand that numbers and the rules don't come as easily. Not only that but I had my fair set of challenges as a student-athlete, and I didn't have access to tutors myself. Both of these experiences pushed me to strive harder until I understood the class material. Surprisingly, math and chemistry are two of my strongest subjects and I hope I'll be able to help you in these areas!

To make tutoring more accessible, I keep my rates low because I believe that every student that wants to succeed should have the chance.
