"Graduating from Vanderbilt University with the highest GPA in my biochemistry cohort, I have excelled in my undergraduate studies and am currently applying to medical school. I have previous volunteer experience tutoring high school and college students in various scientific disciplines, math, and in the humanities. I have a very laid-back teaching style that encourages my students to go at their own pace. When tutoring, I primarily focus on teaching my students active recall strategies, focusing on large details before getting into the nitty gritty, and getting into the right mindset prior to learning a subject.

My primary focus is on MCAT, SAT, and ACT prep as I have consistently scored in the top percentiles in standardized testing. This includes the 95th percentile on the MCAT, and 99th percentile in both the ACT and SAT. Further, I also have expertise in biochemistry, biology, organic chemistry, physics, general chemistry, and math. I have tutored 5 other students, including classmates, in the pre-med coursework, while maintaining A's in all of these courses.
