"Hi everyone! My name is Vedi, and I provide tutoring support for K–12 and college-level math and STEM courses. I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with a minor in Computer Science and a concentration in Biomedical Engineering.

I graduated with a 4.0 GPA in both high school and college, and in order to accomplish that, a key thing I learned is that not every student learns the same way, and not every professor or teacher teaches the same way. Therefore, it’s important to identify the learning strategies that work best for you. I was able to find a system that works best for me to help build a foundation for complex concepts, which I could easily build on as my courses continued.

As a tutor, my goal is to present different learning approaches and identify the strategies that work best for you.

I have experience tutoring math subject for ages K–12 as well as college-level engineering and mathematics courses. I’ve worked with students in one-on-one sessions, small groups, and during college, I’ve also served as a teaching assistant for courses including Multivariable Calculus, Heat Transfer, Statics, Deformable Body Analysis, and Mechanical Dynamics. The role included hosting help sessions and group exam reviews.

My focus is not only to help you reach your immediate academic goals and conceptual understanding of subjects, but also to develop learning strategies in order for you to succeed independently.
