"I earned my undergraduate degree in Spanish and Human Development from the University of Texas at Austin, where I also developed a strong foundation in teaching and tutoring. During my time at UT Austin, I worked as a tutor at the Sanger Learning Center, supporting students in Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. In addition, I served as a teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry, which allowed me to further strengthen my skills in breaking down complex topics and explaining them in clear, approachable ways.

My teaching philosophy centers on scaffolding, guiding students to build upon their existing knowledge to develop a deeper understanding and greater confidence. I enjoy helping students create effective study strategies, and I especially love coming up with creative mnemonics and memory aids for content that is heavy on memorization.

Currently, I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Texas at Southwestern Medical School. Having recently completed both STEP 1 and STEP 2, I am familiar with the intensity and pressure that comes with preparing for these exams.
