"I have my undergraduate degree in chemistry from Texas Christian University (TCU). I am currently a 4th year PhD organic chemistry student at UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). My experience in chemistry extends beyond the classroom – I was an organic chemistry teaching assistant (TA) while at TCU, and have 6+ years of total research experience with a published paper and have attended chemistry conferences around the country. I absolutely love talking about and thinking about chemistry, because at the end of the day chemistry is just a big puzzle. The best way to exceed in chemistry is not by memorizing a million concepts, but by knowing a small set of foundational rules and applying them to problems we come across.

While at TCU I tutored for general chemistry 1 and 2 and organic chemistry 1 and 2, as well as for high school geometry and algebra. I specialize mainly on tutoring general chemistry and organic chemistry, for both undergraduate students and graduate students. I find teaching to be an extremely rewarding experience and no matter what level the student is at, it's amazing to see them apply themselves and grow into whatever subject they are trying to get better at.
