"I'm Andrew, a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University experienced in physics and physical science, having qualified for the USA Physics Olympiad Semifinals 4 times, winning an Honorable Mention 3 times. I have also scored a 5 on AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electromagnetism, AP Physics 1, and AP Physics 2. In addition, I have a lot of experience participating in choral music and frequently compose short music bites with my friends and for class.

I have instructed elementary schoolers, middle schoolers, and some high schoolers, from across the country in physics, astrophysics, and other STEM subjects through the organization that I co-founded, Silicon Valley STEM 4 Youth.

I have also tutored students in music at the Friends of Children with Special Needs organization and I teach in a style that is patient and with a flexible pace that still ensures that my tutee's goals are met.

In my senior year of high school, I was one of eleven tutors selected from my school to help guide a group of underclassmen to reach their personal academic goals and tutor them in subjects that they found challenging. It was an incredibly rewarding experience for me, and through it, I learned a lot of useful study skills and habits that could help out other potential tutees (and myself!).
