"I'm a professional math tutor and educator with over five years of experience helping students succeed in Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus. Since 2019, I've worked as a private tutor, classroom instructor, and academic support specialist in both middle school and college-level environments. Teaching and tutoring are not just side jobs for me—this is my profession, and I'm passionate about making math accessible and meaningful for each student I work with.
From 2021 to 2023, I served in multiple roles at a collegiate high school on the Dallas College campus, including Mathematics Tutor, Instructional Specialist, and Adjunct Faculty, teaching math in each capacity. I’ve also taught middle school math with Garland ISD. Across all of these roles, I’ve worked with students from middle school through college in one-on-one settings, tutoring centers, and classrooms—online and in person.
While I’m currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics at the University of Oklahoma, I bring to my tutoring not only a strong academic track record (high A’s in Calculus I–III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and University Physics I & II), but also years of practical experience teaching these subjects to others. My first degree was a Bachelor's of Science in Neuroscience, which also included advanced mathematics and scientific thinking.
My tutoring style is relaxed, friendly, and adaptive. I work hard to build a positive, non-judgmental environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Every student learns differently, so I adjust my approach to meet their unique needs—whether that means building foundational skills, preparing for an exam, or tackling advanced coursework. My goal is not just to help students get the right answers, but to truly understand the material and feel confident in their abilities." less...
